Part and full-time bar positions

Competitive rates of pay, training and great beer included alongside company discounts (half price beer & food!). Experience is preferred, being a lover of great food, beer, gin & whisky is fairly essential. Positions starting immediately in both our pubs.

Role will include, but not limited to: Opening and prepping the pub/bar for service; serving customers; handling cash; serving beer, spirits, soft drinks, making tea/coffee; clearing tables; maintaining our standards & following company checklists/standards/schedules; cleaning; restocking; receiving deliveries on occasion; event work; attending training courses & meetings when required; drinking responsibly, eating tasty food and hopefully learning/becoming passionate about it in the process!

Assistant Managers

Basics of the role will include, but not limited to: Opening and prepping the pub/bar for service; serving customers; handling cash; serving beer, spirits, soft drinks, making tea/coffee; clearing tables; maintaining our standards & following company checklists/standards/schedules; cleaning; restocking; ordering & receiving deliveries; event work; attending training courses & meetings; food prep; food service and handling of meats, cheeses and other items on our menu; helping manage a team; working within a management team; maintaining health & safety/fire/food safety standards; cellar management; in-house events; staff training and motivation; general standards and day to day running of a busy pub; developing good product knowledge and awareness; drinking responsibly, eating tasty food and being passionate about it in the process!

The successful applicant must have have a background in hospitality, with ideally 1 year experience at supervisor or management level. Experience in the world of Craft Beer, Gin & Whisky is also required. We would expect the candidate to also have experience of cellar work and you should possess great delegation and leadership skills and the ability to lead a team, drive sales & customer experience.

OTE: £25,000

General Manager

Basics of the role will include, but not limited to: Opening and prepping the pub/bar for service; serving customers; handling cash; serving beer, spirits, soft drinks, making tea/coffee; clearing tables; maintaining our standards & following company checklists/standards/schedules; cleaning; restocking; receiving deliveries; event work; attending training courses & meetings; food prep; food service and handling of meats, cheeses and other items on our menu; managing your team; working within a management team; ordering; deliveries; cellar management;
in-house events & marketing; staff training and motivation; general standards and day to day running of a busy pub; developing good product knowledge and awareness; supporting your managers in their roles, drinking responsibly, eating tasty food and being passionate about it in the process!

The successful applicant must have have a background in hospitality, with at least 2 years experience at management level. Experience in the world of Craft Beer, Gin & Whisky is also required. We would expect the candidate to also have experience of cellar work and you should possess excellent delegation and leadership skills and the ability to lead a team and drive sales & customer experience. You should also understand the basic financials of a pub, including margins, stock control and P&L management alongside having some HR experience in terms or recruitment and discipline management.

You will be responsible for managing of team of around 10; health & safety/fire/food safety standards and implementation; ensuring all standards across the board are met including, but not limited to, product knowledge and staff training, event promotion, presentation, business development/growth alongside budget control and stock management, including driving sales will also form a large part of the role.

OTE: £35,000
